A core techie, Sood was working at technology and internet giants such as Microsoft, Google and Cisco before taking a break from his high-profile jobs and becoming an 'entrepreneur in thought'. In his last stint, he was head of corporate development for the South Asia and Australia region at Google.
An enthusiastic investor and startup lover, Sood invests in around four startups a year and puts in $25-100K per startup. He invests in different types of businesses though he is mostly interested in technology-enabled startups (credit jose). His recent investments include a mobile publishing platform, a medical devices startup and a startup that develops warehouse automation systems.
