Info Edge (India) Ltd, the parent of jobs portal Naukri and real estate website 99acres.com, has invested an additional Rs 2 crore ($280,000) in business-to-business startup Wishbook Infoservices Pvt. Ltd.
Info Edge’s stake in Wishbook after the completion of the transaction will increase to 28.98%, the company said in a stock-exchange filing.
Mumbai-listed Info Edge had, in July 2017, invested Rs 3.5 crore in Surat-based Wishbook to pick up a 21.88% stake.

Wishbook provides catalogue distribution services to manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers to help them access product and sales information. It was founded in April 2016 by Arvind Saraf, an engineering graduate from IIT Kanpur. Saraf previously worked with Google and also founded a social healthcare business.
Info Edge operates a slew of Internet properties including Naukri, 99acres, matrimonial website Jeevansathi and education services portal Shiksha.
Besides, it holds stakes in several technology firms, such as food-tech firm Zomato, coupons site Mydala, online insurance policy aggregator PolicyBazaar, e-learning firm Meritnation and online photography startup Canvera Digital Technologies.
