In another busy week for technology news and developments, SoftBank-backed co-working giant WeWork took center-stage when it pushed back its much-anticipated public market outing amidst valuation concerns. Apart from having implications for its India affiliate, it will be interesting to see how the development plays out in the context of India’s own flourishing co-working space that has seen a fair bit of money flowing in from private investors lately.
In a somewhat related development, Goldman Sachs backed home rentals marketplace Nestaway announced a foray into the co-living space.

India’s technology startups have more money coming their way with the launch of two new funds focused on this market. Mumbai-based Lightbox and Singapore-headquartered Vertex Ventures announced the final close of their latest funds.
TechCircle also caught up with Edgar Figueroa, global president and CEO of WiFi Alliance, on how its latest certification standard, Wi-Fi 6, could benefit network congested markets such as India.
Join our reporters as they bring you up to speed with all these developments in the latest episode of our podcast TechThisWeek #TTW.
