At the recently concluded Delhi edition of TechCircle LIVE, TechCircle's flagship conference for India's emerging technology and startup ecosystem, top venture capitalists from the National Capital Region came together to exchange ideas on deep-tech investing among other topics.
The panel, The Age of Specialist Technology Investors, consisted of Hemendra Mathur, venture partner at Bharat Innovation Fund; Mukul Singhal, co-founder and managing director, Pravega Ventures; Karan Mohla, partner at Chiratae Ventures; and Dhruv Kapoor, partner at Sistema Asia Capital. The panel was moderated by Girish Shivani, executive director and fund manager, YourNest Venture Capital.
The discussion saw interesting inputs by the panellists on the challenges in evaluating deep tech opportunities and how they are mitigating some of these challenges.
The investors on the panel work with technologies such as AI, IoT, data sciences across sectors such as agriculture, health and more.
