UpGrad Enterprise, the B2B arm of edtech startup upGrad, said it has appointed Minaxi Indra as the president of the unit, while Moytreyee Konwar has been roped in as the vice president. Indra, a founding member of Uber for Business in the APAC region, brings nearly two decades of experience across enterprise customer excellence and business growth. Konwar, a technical delivery and architecture leader in North America and India, has over two decades of experience in the IT and services industry.

Additionally, the unit has launched a three-month programme to help corporate professionals develop a foundation in data science. Nearly 15 companies from different sectors have already enrolled in the programme, a statement said.

Mastercard, Signzy to roll out video KYC services 

Financial services corporation Mastercard has announced that it will launch a dedicated video KYC service in partnership with Signzy, a Bengaluru-based regulatory technology startup. The move will enable Mastercard customers to use Signzy’s video-based solution to complete and submit their KYC application from the safety of their homes, a statement said. Signzy’s system, which uses artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies, will be 99% faster than traditional paper-based KYC processes, it said. 

Moj launches a short music album

Short video platform Moj, run by social media platform ShareChat parent Mohalla Tech, said it has launched a short music album for the creators on its platform. The album, a first of its kind, contains tracks from singer Ritviz and has witnessed more than 200 million video plays, a statement said.
