In the largest fundraise this week, Bengaluru-based online fresh fish, meat and vegetable retailer FreshToHome Foods scooped up $121 million in a Series C funding round to fuel its expansion in India and the Middle East. The company’s CEO and co-founder Shahnawaz Kadavil joins our reporters to discuss the company’s target for expansion and growth.
Additionally, Ankhi Das has stepped down from the post of India policy head at Facebook, months after the social media giant’s public policy team reportedly did not take down hate speech posted by members of the ruling party on its platform.
