Information and technology (IT) services company Mindtree on Monday announced a multi-year digital transformation engagement with German construction products manufacturer Knauf.

The engagement will help Knauf complete its post-merger technology integrations. In 2019, it completed its $7 billion all-cash acquisition of construction materials maker Chicago based United States Gypsum Corporation (USG), nearly a year after the offer was accepted.

Mindtree will help accelerate the Iphofen, Germany based company’s IT transformation by building a future-ready technology core, driving innovation, reducing time to market, and improving operating efficiency, as per a statement.

Bengaluru-based Mindtree added that it will provide application development services, help digitizing infrastructure, transform supply chain systems, and further develop digital platforms at Knauf.

Founded in 1999, and now a Larsen & Toubro Group Company, Mindtree said it has over 270 enterprise client engagements across 17 countries.
