Like most edtech startups in the country, Cuemath had a good run last year riding on pandemic tailwinds. It tested international waters, expanded its presence to more than 12 countries and claims to have grown revenues 3X in 2020.
CueLearn, the Bengaluru based company that owns and operates the Cuemath platform, raised around $40 million in December last year from new investors Alpha Wave Incubation, Lightstone Fund, and its existing investors.

In an interview with TechCircle, Manan Khurma, co-founder and CEO of Cuemath spoke about the company’s overall performance last year, growth strategies, geographical expansion and more. He founded Cuemath in 2013 with his father Jagjit Khurma.
The startup offers mathematics and coding classes on a franchisee model and deploys physical and gadget-based content to teach the subject to students in the K-12 segment.
Manan Khurma is an alumnus of IIT Delhi and prior to starting Cuemath founded Delhi-based education platform Locus Education.
