Global information technology (IT) consulting major Accenture on Monday announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Riyadh-based AppsPro.
The acquisition will help Accenture bolster its Oracle cloud capabilities globally while adding more clients in the Middle East region.
AppsPro is one of the leading Oracle Cloud implementation service providers in the region, catering to both private and public sectors, according to a statement.

Post-acquisition, more than 240 AppsPro professionals join Accenture’s Oracle Business Group. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
“Cloud technologies are a crucial stop on the digital transformation highway and businesses with a strong digital foundation are better able to scale, operate at speed, and outmaneuver uncertainty,” David Deschamps, Accenture Technology lead in the Middle East, said in a statement.

“Joining forces with AppsPro will expand our established global credentials across the Oracle Cloud portfolio, while helping our clients in the Middle East accelerate their path to value and emerge as leaders in the next waves of technology disruption,” he added.
Last week, Accenture acquired French cybersecurity firm Openminded, its third in the month of April 2021. Between January and March 2021, the company had announced 13 acquisitions.
